Why you should repair your bare patches?

Why you should repair your bare patches?

A beautiful looking lawn is uniform, all the grass has the same growing habit and there are no bare spots.

If a few bare patches have crept in to your lawn, if you don’t re-seed them, weeds will take over and the lawn will look unsightly. So oversowing or repairing bare patches with the right variety to blend into your lawn is an excellent idea.

If you have a kikuyu lawn, then oversow any bare patches with Munns Emerald Kikuyu and if you have a couch lawn, oversow with Munns Pooch Couch.

If you have a lawn that grows up right, like rye and fescue lawns, then oversow with Munns Arid Sun & Shade and Munns Pixie Sun & Shade.

Don’t forget to mix your choice of lawn seed with Munns Superstart Seed & Turf Starter Fertiliser.  This will encourage the seed to germinate & grow green & strong, not weak & thin.

Always follow the directions on the packaging for oversowing or view our video of Kim with tips on how to do this.
